Designed, cut, and sewn in New York City, from 13 oz brushed cotton twill woven on antique looms in Okayama, Japan. There are 6 pockets throughout the chest, hence the name.

SIZING

Find a jacket or overshirt you like and measure it to figure out what size will suit you best. In general, this coat has a boxy, slightly cropped fit. It will accomodate a proper shirt under it.

Human arm lengths vary widely. We encourage you to get your sleeve length adjusted by a tailor if you don't love where the cuff is falling.

PROCESS

Our fabric is made in Osaka, Japan, one of the most legendary fabric manufacturing towns in the world.

First, organic cotton is picked and evaluated for its quality.

The chosen cotton is then spun into thread onsite.

The thread is then spun into fabric on the some of the last vintage shuttle looms in the world.

It's then brushed to create a velvety hand that is confused with suede.

Finally, it's cut and sewn in the US by a family-owned workshop, and finished with details like hand-dyed corozo buttons.
